With exclusivity of cultivation in the valley, it rises in Montegreco to the apex of the Valley of Candia, which gives name to name to the "Candia dei Colli Apuani" D.O.C. (In Italy, D.O.C. is an government regulated standard that guarantees its origin and is traceable to its source at all times).

Climate, microclimate, altitude of the vineyards, the soil, and the constant thermal excursion between day and night are the makers of a raw substance, of undoubted quality sublime in wine: Vermentino Reale, Trebbiano, Malvasia, Sangiovese, Giacchè, Barsaglina, Merlot are grown in the vineyard of the Pucci's family.
